My Voice My Arms of Love

I
became aware of the International Justice Mission and felt challenged by God not
to turn my back
and walk away but to take up the cause of Christ and impact lives through the
pursuit of justice in
this world. We are not only called to clothe and feed the needy we are also
called to stand and
defend the weak and persecuted. If we look around we may become overwhelmed with
the needs in
this world and may be tempted to turn to God and ask why He allows this and why
doesn’t He stop
the suffering. God’s answer could very well be turn the question back to us. His
response could
very well be that “You’re My Plan. You’re My Answer to the world’s ills. So get
out there and seek
out justice.” And so we each must decide if we are going to answer God’s call to
be His Voice and
His Arms of Love.

Victims of wicked men.
Tortured lives without hope,
Abused and beaten forgotten souls.
My precious children thrown away,
Raped, murdered, enslaved and maimed.
Will you look beyond yourself,
And see the millions who need of help.
